Gishiki Lounge isn’t the only reason to visit Tai Kwun this month. From 4 to 17 November, it plays host to Projekt Berlin, a festival entirely dedicated to the German capital’s edgy attitude, resilient history and creative imagination. From classic concerts performed by the Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn to film screenings, Bauhaus architecture talks, breakdance shows, LED installations and Berlin cabaret with Ute Lemper – one of the greatest exponents of the genre – the event explores the breadth and depth of the city’s influential culture.
