Hong Kong Airlines continues to demonstrate its commitment to the importance of cargo safety by taking part in the Cargo Safety Seminar, held on 6 and 7 August 2019, which they partly sponsored. Jointly organised by the International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD), the event was the first of its kind. The seminar brought together representatives from IATA, government regulators, airport authorities, airlines, industry associations, ground services providers, freight forwarders and cargo agents, who deliberated over important topics related to cargo safety measures.
