What happens when food innovators, futurists, businesses and NGOs come together to rethink the food system? Find out at the second annual Hong Kong Food Hackathon, an initiative of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, taking place 20–22 September. The focus will be on transforming unhealthy regional staples into nutritious, delicious and sustainable dishes. Multi-disciplinary teams will take part in the weekend-long hackathon, all vying to come up with the most creative and marketable solutions. At the end of the weekend, a jury will decide which pitch wins.
