Learn about culinary life in subdivided flats

With an average of just 4.5m2 of living space, Hong Kong’s subdivided flats leave little room to cook. That’s why developer Grosvenor Asia Pacific and the Caritas Mok Cheung Sui Kun Community Centre started Neighbourhood Kitchen in Shek Tong Tsui. The kitchen provides cooking supplies and fresh ingredients, so residents can make meals together. The project’s new eponymous cookbook tells their stories alongside vivid photography and Cantonese recipes. Get it at Bookazine – proceeds go towards funding the kitchen.
