Looking for a job that will literally take you to new heights? Consider a career with Hong Kong Airlines. Hong Kong Airlines was one of the participants of the annual Hong Kong International Airport Career Expo, which took place from 31 May-1 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Visitors to the expo got to learn more about the various positions available at Hong Kong Airlines and the Hong Kong Aviation Ground Service Limited (HAGSL), its wholly-owned subsidiary. There are some 100 vacancies at both entities, including the airline’s frontline and engineering functions.
At a career talk, representatives from the airline were on hand to share their valuable insight about prospects in the company, as well in the broader aviation scene.
As one of the home carriers of Hong Kong and youngest airlines in the world, Hong Kong Airlines is committed to its long-term growth. The airline has seen unprecedented growth in the past 12 years and is now an international carrier covering 35 destinations across Asia Pacific and North America.
To support the development of local aviation talent, the Hong Kong Airlines Aviation Training Centre is scheduled to open later this year. Located at 28 Kwo Lo Wan Road at Chek Lap Kok, the 11-storey building covering an area of 5,858m² will provide state-of-the-art training facilities for aviation personnel covering ground and inflight operations.
