When renowned architect Frank Gehry isn’t designing yet another astonishing building, he creates fish lamps out of Formica fragments. The first time one will be on public display is at the Mandarin Oriental, Wangfujing, which opened its doors in March. The awe-inspiring piece – three fish in pink, peach and red that appear to be chasing each other – is suspended over the lobby.
