Cat cafés are so two years ago. Café Animojo in Central answers the
call of the wild with a colourful animal mural splashed across the façade, as well as wood-clad interiors and a clutch of plant-based dishes. While you dig into Mediterranean vegetable stew, tomato sukiyaki spaghetti or crudité with a dip of the day, “nature ambassadors” like Amy the hedgehog and Jabba the frog watch all the action from large glass terrariums. The café was founded by animal conservationist “Goatee” Toni Kingston, so you can rest easy knowing they’re well taken care of – Kingston reassures us that the animals take turns hanging out at the café, so they have a “healthy mix of fun
and relaxation”.
