Hong Kong-based Rosewood Hotel Group has been on the up and up, with 24 global properties and 21 more in the pipeline. Which is why it boggles the mind that the group seems to have skipped one important city: its hometown. That’s set to change. The 413-room Rosewood Hong Kong – set to open in mid-March and now accepting bookings – is the new crown jewel of the Victoria Dockside arts and culture district on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. New York-based studio Tonychi is behind the design, which features some of the largest guestrooms in the city, 18 signature suites, duplex options, sky gardens and a whopping eight dining options. Looks like it’ll be worth the wait.
